My wellness journey 💜
I’m sharing the good, the challenging, and everything I’m learning along the way. Because there’s a lot more to a health journey than the results you see online.

More than a number on a scale
I’m a busy wife, mom, and educator, and making time for my own health hasn’t always been easy. I started making changes because I wanted to feel better and build habits that would last.
I’ve been learning about eating enough, staying hydrated, paying attention to my body, and asking for help when I need it. I’ve had encouraging moments and difficult ones, and I think both deserve a place in the story.
This isn’t about telling anyone else what they should do. It’s about sharing what my experience has been like.
What matters to me
Progress isn’t always linear. Having realistic expectations, making manageable changes, and getting medical guidance when questions come up have all been important parts of my experience.
The things I’m learning
🥗 Eating enough matters
When my appetite was low, I learned how important it was to be intentional about meals and small portions.
💧 Little habits add up
Staying on top of water, food, and everyday routines takes attention, especially on busy days.
❤️ Support matters
Being able to reach out to my medical provider with questions has made a meaningful difference for me.
Not every week has been easy
For about a week and a half, nothing sounded good to eat. I got stuck in a frustrating cycle of eating too little, feeling nauseous, and then wanting to eat even less.
I was thankful I could message my doctor, explain what was happening, and talk through ways to navigate it. For me, focusing on small portions throughout the day and drinking enough water helped me work through that stretch. I’m feeling good again.
That experience reinforced why I personally value having a licensed medical provider involved in my health journey. I want to share the challenging parts, too—not just the highlights.
Why provider support matters to me
The tools I’m using are only part of the picture. Having someone qualified to ask when something doesn’t feel right is just as important to me.
This is my personal experience, not medical advice. Treatment decisions should be made with a licensed healthcare provider.
